In Search Of ... a role working with a team building real AI products and turning them into something with meaningful business impact. I also focus on AI enablement, which falls into change management and learning. Finally, I have a passion for AI policy and governance.
Strategist: I'm happy whether I'm defining your blueprint for organizational AI or defining how your people strategies can be more efficient and streamlined with the addition of technology. I am also an effective manager of both people and processes. I love managing teams, and I thrive on organization, which means I'm an efficient project - and product - manager.
Girl Geek: I'm a self-confessed gadget-aholic and suffer from Early Adopter Syndrome. I am fascinated by AI and want to help organizations and individuals understand the good, the great, the bad and the ugly. I love to offer workshops on everything from basic prompting to design thinking in AI, and I'm passionate about copyright, ethics and AI governance. Call me a cautious accelerationist, with a dose of Humanism.
Continuous Learner: I never stop and I'm always curious. In July 2026, I will receive my MS in Artificial Intelligence in Business from Arizona State University. This degree, which covers everything from coding to AI policy and business transformation strategy, sharpens my ability to translate between the engineers and the business leaders in an organization.
In December 2024, I acquired a Professional Certification in Artificial Intelligence in Business from Arizona State University. It's the certification that started me on my path to my Master's program. I also completed a course in Change Management and AI from Vanderbilt University via Coursera and received the Generative AI Leader certification from Google Cloud.
I’m certified in both Hogan Assessments and 360 Feedback. I have several course completions and certifications in AI, HR, and Coaching through organizations including ATD, General Assembly, LinkedIn Learning, Coursera, and the Coach Training Alliance. And just in case I didn’t have enough certifications, I hope to earn the Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) designation by October.
Coach: With my coaching training, I know how to ask the right questions to make you think, and put you and your employees on the right path. I can walk you through personality assessment results and expose the exceptional growth opportunities they present. I'm also a co-founder and director of L&D Cares, a non-profit that offers coaching and mentoring to members of the HR/Talent Management community.
Trainer: AI or soft skills, I can train you. There is nothing I love more than to lead a classroom session. I am also certified in Synchronous Delivery (virtual via WebEx, Zoom, or Teams).
Technical Writer and Editor: I have a degree in English with an emphasis in Technical Writing. I live by the maxim that brevity is the soul of wit. From technical manuals to online help, I have no problem translating technical knowledge into organized, easy to understand information. I am a word nerd.
Then there's the wine: Level 1 Sommelier (before the test was online). Off and on (mostly off), I maintain a blog/newsletter on books and wine called The Grape Gatsby. Years ago, I was the executive editor and founder of My Wine Education, an award-winning wine blog sourced by Gannett Newspapers.
I bet you didn't know: I was a skydiver for a while, and I also owned a ballroom dancing studio called Paper Moon Productions, where I specialized in Lindy Hop and East Coast Swing. 💃
